Jumeira Mosque
Definitly worth seeing - if you are kind of interested in art, and like all sorts of oriental arts/ crafts/ & architecture....
Go and see it in a sunny day at aroung 5-6 PM , when the sun is going down, but yet not twilight....
attached is the pic of some other, quite brautiful mosque i've seen in Sharja (neighbour emirate to Dubai)

The rooms of Burj al Arab
I have stayed in many hotels.. some are very luxurious, some are big.. but when I saw the rooms of Burj al Arab, other rooms have disappeared from my mind..

Each room has double floors.. Approx... 300 m2.. While many hotels are offering a room of 30m2, this hotel has a room of 10 times bigger..

when you first enter the room you see the working desk, where there is a laptop and free internet connection, a fax machine and other office products..and in front is the digital Flat Tv..

Burj Al' Arab ~~~
I haven't been inside - though we've been offered to have an excursion there by the travell agent ... what was offered : - just to go there and watch whatever you will be allowed to watch, and then have a dinner or tea with some desserts (up to your choice) in one of the numerous restaurants...The price was something aroung 170-200$ for one, (this doesn't include anything in the bar/restaurant, even tea :)
Plus no casual attire at all!!! No jeans or anything like that.... Quite a snobbish attitude for your 200 bucks, isn't it?
So i just took a pic. of this hotel passing it by once...

Daily shuttle bus trips to the beach
I used to live in the Hotel in Deira, which was one of the Metropolitan Hotels Chain.
By living in one of them located in the city you can basicly use the facilities of Metropolitan Breach Resourt for free.
Twice a day the hotel shuttle bus was taking us to the beach - which was really good. The trip took about 20 minutes.
Attached is the picture taken from the rear seat of the bus.... Looks a bit gloomy, but it was really warm!!!

Construction goes fast up and to the sides

In Dubai construction of new steel and glass wonders does not stop. It's like a part of local culture to know the name of all the blocks, if it's a hotel, a residence or offices, sometimes it's all of it together in the same building.
Like a taxi driver told me the roads changes with time and driving directions too. You will never know, how it will look like next week.
It expands from the main city parts and so into the desert.

It can get very warm in Dubai. If you are out all day or walking around a spare T shirt can come in handy.

It's also useful to go into the shopping centres to get a bit of relief from the air con in there!

Inside the Bedroom
It was not so easy to take a picture in the bedroom.. Our guide wasfollowing us and was not letting... But we took one in the darkness..

The bedroom is as big as my livingroom.. And just above the bed lays a mirror :)) and if you dont want you can cover the mirror by just clicking one of the buttons..

The view from the bed was georgeous..
