Boat Cruise
There are many boats running in the nights in the golden horn of Dubai which is called "Dhow" in Arabic. These boats depart from the pier in "Deira" neighbourhood any taxi driver shoul be able to take you there. our cruise started at 8:30 pm, took about 2 hours, up and down the horn. The dinner is open buffet and there is live arabic music, a singer playing his instrument "ud" and singing. Whole price was about 50 US $ 's.

    Skiing in the Desert!
They have EVERYTHING in Dubai, so why not skiing? It's the "Coolest Thing in Dubai," and Yes, it's in the middle of the desert! Located at the Kempinski hotel, in the Emirates Mall, they have Ski Dubai. Don't worry if you didn't bring your gear -- You can rent everything there! There are 5 different runs for varied levels of skiers and snowboarders. There are also two cafes with great views of the slopes if you just want to watch. It's a cool place to go!

    Desert Jeep Safari
You are picked up in a 4WD vehicle and taken to the sand dunes where you are taken on a hair raising ride complete with wheel spins and turns! There are photo stops to admire the sunset before you are driven to the desert camp for a buffet meal, complete with belly dancer, camel rides and henna tattoo painting. It was great fun!

    dubai city tour-dubai modern tour
you can experience the ancient and modern dubai with a "dubai city tour" within a half day and payment of 100-140 DH per person.inside the old dubai, you pass the Royal Sheikh Palace to the Dubai Creek,Mercato(the italian style shopping centre in renaissance architecture),and Jumeirah Beach.you'll pass the modern highways in Bur Dubai and see Dubai Internet city,Media city, modern towers and buildings in Dubai Marina and go to Palm Island, the first man-made Island inside the persian gulf,in the shape of palm.then you visit outside Burj Al Arab(the only 7* hotel in the world, symbol of dubai) and Madinat Jumeirah(a touristic city, composed of old arabic architecture and citadels with modern shoppings next to a nice and calm river)and after all you visit the Ibn Battuta shopping centre with the architecture of 6 ancient civilizations: China,India,Egypt,Iran,Andolos(spain) and Tunnis.and at last you will go to the Emirates Mall to visit the indoor Dubai Ski Pist.in some programmes, dinner is included.we had it at KFC in Emirates Mall.

    "Dune-bashing"
"Dune-bashing" is basically driving 4x4's (SUV's in the US) at fast speeds all over desert sand dunes. There's loads of companies in Dubai offering trips out to the nearby dunes where you are picked up at your hotel in a Toyota Landcruiser and driven an hour or so into the desert outside of Dubai. Here you meet up with other people who are doing the very same with other companies. Firstly the driver lets some of the air out of the tyres so that they have more surface area contact with the sand for extra grip. Then you're off! These guys are very experienced at doind this. You'll be in a small convoy following the driver in front who sets the pace and the course over the dunes. Some of the angles up over the dunes are incredible. You feel like the car is about to flip over onto it's roof but instead the weight of it just let's the sand give way so you end up slipping down the dune. It's really an experience to be savoured. After about an hour or so's bashing around, you might have a trp on some quad bikes on a nearby sandy circuit (which costs extra) or go and see the sun setting over the desert landscape. Lastly on the itinerary will be a trip to a bedouin camp where you'll be treated to a BBQ and belly dancing before being dropped back at your hotel.

As I said, there are several companies that offer this type of trip so shop around Dubai for the best price and package. It's cheaper to book in Dubai then beforehand via the internet.
