After living in Dubai for almost 10 months I finally did visit the famous Creek Park last weekend. The entry fees is 5 Dirhams per person and it's really worth it. The park is a wonderful place for spending your weekend, especially if you have kids. It has some quite unique features:
- Children's City: A huge building with a lot of different activity areas for kids of all ages. It is located close to Gate 1 of the Park. Since my son is too small for that, we haven't gone inside yet. But it does look amazing.
- Cable Car: We got on the Cable Car just a few minutes before sunset and it really was an amazing experience. Since the Park is located right next to the Creek on the Bur Dubai side you get to see the famous high-rise buildings of Sheikh Zayed Road as well as the traditional Deira area from the cable car. And the view over the creek itself is amazing too. The fare for a ride on the cable car is 25 Dirhams per person.
