We were visiting a nearby shopping centre when we decided to go and have a look at the dubai creek golf club. The staff there were so friendly, they let us come in and look around and told us that we could return to use the restaurants as they weren't for members only.

The building is very unusual and it was nice to see it close up.

The club is a place where the yearly horse racing takes place. Nad Al Sheeba club also has golf court and in Friday is favored by the people who want to enjoy nice Friday brunch with family.

Just 10 minutes from the centre of Dubai, Nad Al Sheba Club features an extensive range of golf, racing and dining facilities for both members and non-members.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is definitely not a place I would be interested in visiting - and yet this particular golf club has one point of interest for me... the Club House. There are six restaurants, but I did not bother tasting any food there; what fascinated me was the architecture. It looks, in its design, like a dhow prow with sail. Dubai may now the a muticultural, modern and multiface city - but it surely does not want to forget its fishing village past.

Some more information: the Club House was built in 1993 bz the UK architect Brian Johnson. It has won manz architecture awards.

Dubai Yacht Club is located on the banks of the Dubai Creek. The place is great to hang out with your friends or your love one.

One of the popular restaurant is The Aquarium, which served international cuisine and Friday brunch. There is big ceilling aquarium inside the restaurant and the view to the surrounding creek is beautiful.

If you fancy to sit outside in the evening, while smoking shisha, the QD's is a great place to do it. The atmoshphere is nice. They serve snack, shisha and only cold drinks.
