Dhow Boat Cruise: A Magical End To Our Trip

We booked this trip with Arabian Adventures , online. There are lots of companies offering similar cruises. There are two levels onboard for seating , we had the lower level and I am happy we had a lovely table for two window seat. The night skyline was beautiful with all the building and boats themselves with colorful lights .There were even fireworks although I don't know what the occasion was. A glass of wine was included and the buffet was surprisingly good with lots of choces. I really hadn't expected it to be that good. We crusied for about two hours and were dropped off just before 11PM at our hotel .I thought this was a nice way to end our short visit to Dubai. Smart Casual

The Free Fountain Show: Dancing Fountains

The Fountain ShowThis was amazing . The fountains dance to music and even lights on the B. Kahlleifa keep the beat. There were free shows every 30 minutes in front of the Dubai Mall. It can be seen from anywhere along the outside of the Mall or you could watch it from one of the cafe restaurants that line the plaza. We caught two shows .I think our best vantage point was from the bridge

Zinc: Zn chemically speaking is Zinc!

Another night in Dubai and another good reason to party ... who needs a weekend!?! So the four of us; Dan, Michelle, Eva and me drive down to the Crowne Plaza to get a slice of some different fun ... The type where we have a band invloved!Zinc has received many awards such as the "Whats on Magazine, 'Best Nightclub' Award" for 2003 and 2004. As expected, there was a long line outside. What was really funny though were the 'Gatekeepers', gently pushing aside a few others (couples included) to usher us smilingly through. Go Figure! It's about AED 50 a couple cover charge, though they didn't really charge us to enter that night. Singles of course have a tougher time getting in. The place was packed to the brim, filled with a lot of beautiful and drunk people; the energy was pumped; The Canadian 7-piece band called Earthbeat rocked! Clapham Junction is a casual Rock 'n' Roll bar, features live music, and offers a dance floor. It's nothing fancy, but provides the setting for down-to-earth fun and letting your hair loose. We spent New Years Eve 2003/2004 and danced the night away. Shouldn't really let this secret out, but Happy Hour at this roof top cocktail bar is 6-7 and HALF PRICE!Lovely little canapes are served free with your drinks.Please tell only quality and stylish people! No beermonsters.The view is gorgeous along the beach, partic watching the kitesurfers when it's still daylight at that time. Smart casual.

Nightlife is really good in Dubai. There are lots of pubs,bars and restaurants. They are genarally located inside the hotels.Just ask the taxi driver where to go and they will tell you. For example go to Rutana tower then use stairs down u will see a nice pub, enjoy your drink. Casual

the best place to be here in Dubai if you're looking for an all-out fun evening. no dress code, come as you are although you will still see a lot of people dressed in party clothes. the drinks are priced reasonably. you have an option of lounging on one of the beach-seats right on the sand or there's also a bar upstairs which normally has a one-man band show. :) try going there on a tuesday for salsa night..... no dress code.
