Mercato Mall is in the upmarket beachside suburb of Jumeirah, and the style of the mall reflects that. It's designed to represent Venice - and considering it's a new shopping mall it's actually a pretty good interpretation of Venice.

There are the usual designer stores, a supermarket, plenty of very nice food outlets, cafes & restaurants, antiques, jewellery, Persian carpets, souvenirs and services such as hairdressing.

Much more of a friendly buzz about the place than in the larger malls.

Like many of Dubai's malls, it's worth visiting to look at the mall itself as much as the shops within it.

We went to this mall and were amazed how well everything looked like italy! The shops were expensive - all the brand names. The one shop we went into thinking i could buy a dress turned out to be the most expensive - $5000.00 AUD!

Yet another mall in Dubai! This one is built in Italian Renaissance style - the only one in Jumeirah. It is not as big as most of the other malls, but the European style gives it an air of comfort and cozyness.

- a store entirely devoted to Barbie

What to buy: Dubai = Shopping Mecca! Buy anything.

This shopping mall is designed as an Italian town with street names in Italian and all the architecture too is Italian style.
There are many kinds of shops and some good cafes.
Virgin has a superstore for CDs etc; there is a home store with crockery, bedding, furniture,in fact anything related to the house; other clothing stores and gift shops.

What to buy: electronics, perfumes, jewellery, Arabian crafts

What to pay: less than at home

All the shops are bright, colourful and tempting. With so much to buy and tax free prices.

What to pay: Less than in UK due to tax free

Markatto is one of the best on design and
selectivity of shops . The mall is fantastic if not for shopping then for hanging out .

Good resturants with a nice automosphere

It is the newest shopping mall in Dubai, it has different kind of shops almost the same shops as in City Center shopping mall and it has a cinema.
