| Jumeirah Beach tips and photos posted by real travelers and Dubai locals. Jumeirah, Dubai, U.A.E. • 33 Photos • 18 Reviews See all Dubai Things To Do | | Dubai Jumeirah Beach Reviews | 1 - 10 of 18 | | We had a wonderfully lazy day at Jumeirah Beach Park. Somewhat outside the buzzing city-streets, Jumeirah seems to be moving at a slower pace. People are sunbathing, barbequing, or playing Volleyball and other beach-games; a little food-shack sells soft-drinks and snacks (hot-dogs, keebabs, etc.) for those who didn't bring their picnic baskets. And though we didn't have our swim-suits with us, the ocean was just too inviting, so that we rolled up our jeans and waded knee-deep into the crystal-clear water. The sand was soft as velvet, and the water-temperature was just perfect (this was January). The dresscode ranges from people being fully dressed all the way to 2-pc. bathing suit. We watched an Indian couple making their way into the water fully dressed. And contrary to Ash's belief, they did not want to save airfare and swim back home to India, but they simply enjoyed the water. Most of the beach-goers were families, couples, or young people. Overall, the visit was very relaxed and simply NICE - a beautiful way to spend a Friday afternoon. One of the most romantic and relaxing evenings we spent in Dubai was down in Jumeirah at the beach. We drove out of the city and strolled along the water, watching the stars in the night-sky, listening to the ocean, and feeling the soft sand under our feet. And then of course - there on the horizon was the Burj in all it's glory: towering high up in continuously changing colors. :-) Leave a Comment Directions: all along the ocean in Jumeirah Beach

The Burj Al Arab is definitely one of the most famous hotels in the world. It's as well one of the most expensive and luxury hotels ! You must have seen this hotel !! On top of the hotel is a helicopter landing place - in case you're coming with your private helicopter ;-) You can visit the Burj Al Arab for about 35 €, but you've to be dressed up appropriate - if you're coming with Jeans and/or shorts, they won't let you in !! And it would be a mess to miss this attraction. For the 35 € you get a voucher and can buy souvenirs or go in one of the many restaurants (there's a under water restaurant !!). Leave a Comment

Arabian Tower is a sail on Persian Gulf ! it is height 321 metres (1053ft) divided in 60 floors. The construction of Burj Al Arab finished in 1999. The atrium is 180 metres high, one of the highest in the world. Burj Al Arab is the world's tallest structure with a membrane facade. This is the tallest operating hotel building in the world (not counting mixed-use buildings like Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai or the unfinished Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea). The hotel built inside got 7 stars. "Burj" is Arabic for "Tower". The building's external lighting schemes, from white light to a multicolored one, change from one to another every 30 minutes expressing the evening's progress! Arabian Tower takes place in a beach that is perfect for Surfing ! Leave a Comment Directions: it is located in Jumeirah Beach

This is the beach to go to if your a tourist, it costs 5 Dirhams (about 1 Euro) to enter. Inside you have acess to changing rooms, toilets, clean beach, kids park and no inhabitans that looks at your wife/girl, like they do at the public beach (see my Warning tip or the public beach). There is alot of beach rules, make sure to follow them or you can be thrown out of the beach park. There is a couple of restaurants in the beach park area and one (that I´v seen) fast food place. So you dont have to worry about the food. The water is like on a post card light green and you wont see any rocks or shells that will hurt your feet. The beach is fine sand no small rocks or garbage anywhere. Wonderful place Open Hours: Daily 8am-10:30pm. Thur & Fri till 11pm. Monday for children and ladies only You can rent following things at the beach Towels- 5 Dirhams (about 1 Euro) Small parasol- 5 Dirhams (about 1 Euro) Big parasol- 10 Dirhams (about 2 Euro) Sun chair- 15 Dirhams (about 3 Euro) DONT MISS ALL OF MY VIDEOS OF JUMERIAH PARK BEACH Phone: 3492555Directions: Jumeirah Park Beach. There are various beaches that are known as Jumeirah. Jumeirah is an affluent suburb of Dubai, south west of the city. 1) The Public Beach near Dubai Marine Beach resort is also known as Russian or Moscow beach especially by taxi drivers. I'm sure you can work out why. It is open, sheltered, gently shelving, there is car parking, kiosks and showers - and it's completely free! It is also covered in cigarette ends and full of men who come to stare at the ladies from Eastern Europe in their inappropriate string-like beach wear bottoms. 2) Jumeirah Beach Park is the municipal park. It is a very clean beach with toilets (not clean) snack bar and showers. There are large landscaped grass areas with beautiful flowers and trees. There are barbecue grills for free and lots of trees/sunshades. It gets packed on Thursday & Friday particularly in the afternoon and evening. Very popular with large groups. Free parking outside; 5 dhs for adults. 20 dhs per car if you want to park inside. Warning: Saturday is Ladies' Day. Women & children only. NO MEN OR TEENAGE BOYS WILL BE ADMITTED for the whole of the day. This enables muslim ladies to visit the park. 3) Jumeirah beach strip - behind University of Wollongong, near Dubai Offshore Sailing Club and up towards Jumeirah Beach hotel - open beach with no facilities, very popular with the kite surfing and surfing fraternity - great place to watch the action for free. Don't worry even if you're not staying at any beach hotels, you can still enjoy Dubai's beautiful beaches as there are easily accessible public beach and private beach parks. The hotel I stayed in offers a scheduled shuttle bus for free to the public beach,Jumeirah Baech Corniche and the private Jumeirah Beach Park,so probably some hotels do the same.

You must spend some time at the beach. The water is crystal clear, and warm, the sand is clean and fine. And the sun shines every day. Perfect! Bikinis are normal wear on the beaches. Close to the city, such as Jumeirah Open Beach, men staring at women may be a problem, but not on the beaches further away such as near Burj Al Arab. Lifeguards and constant police patrols are getting rid of the problem. Leave a Comment Directions: The nearest free public beach to the city is Jumeirah Open Beach alongside the Dubai Marine Resort. There are more towards Jebel Ali, next to Burj al Arab, between the beach palaces on Al Sufou Road and at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach.

I was at the beach at 13th of July... It was extremely hot. No shades, no showers. But very clean and nice sea. It is also very salty, do not gorget your googles. And of course it feels like Turkish bath inside. Leave a Comment
