    Too friendly

    by maharaja_joe Updated Mar 24, 2007 62 reviews

For some reason, it seems to me that Dubai has a few local men who think fair-skinned women are simply desperate for action. Such people are definitely in the minority, and the Dubai police do not look kindly upon them either.

There have been a few instances where they approach ladies who are traveling alone and offer a lift. For some reason, a "No, Thank you" doesn't seem to deter them. In such cases, simply yell out at them and threaten to call the cops. Thats enough to send them packing.

    Friendly People Approaching you

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

I was alone at a Shopping Mall called City Center.
an Arabian man approached me and asked me where i was from. Then he asked me where i was going to. I told him that i was going to the airport. He directly offered me a ride to the airport.
People are friendly here but this man had other intentions such as rob me or even abbuse me.
So refuse an offer to go with somebody you don't know!!!
