Sea View Hotel: Best Live Band in Dubai

by davidpetch

This Filipino band is by far the best I have seen anywhere in the World. Led by the Female Bass guitarist, who can amaze by playing "Sweet Child O' Mine" behind her head. This lady is a multi-instrumentalist and very pretty. There are 4 female singers who are all pretty. Keyboard, drums and lead guitarist make up the numbers.Band kicks off aroun 9.30 and plays until at least 2.30.The waitresses find you the best table if you get there before 8pm and are constantly bringing you beers.Nothing in Dubai beats this place. Smart, casual. Trainers and Jeans ok.

Night and Bars Dubaiiiiiiiii

by dr.firas

Only Dubai is the place where you can enjoy a nightcup and crazy nights, disco's and bars, and more...Buda Bar, Music, super cars, and a loud charged crazy atmosphere, when you have money, you will be the King in Dubai, and is for sure a pure pleasure and extra happiness :-))))

TGI Thursdays: A Pimp's Paradise

by Ike_2005

This particular bar was very unique. It seemed like an average bar, but the women inside would latch onto any man coming through the doors. Whispering about how they want to go home with him, and have good sex with him, and anything else to get the guy to take her home. Now I know how women must feel in the clubs back in the United States. It was kind of annoying, but at the same time it was fun to play with their heads, which in the end pisses them off, and they'll leave you alone. No dress code that I know of.

rock bottom or zinc: party time

by npg

two cool bars to visit are 'zinc' and 'rock bottom' look out for a kiwi/new zealand band called 'solid as' or 'solid az' at rock bottom. i think they will be there again over summer 2005. they really rock and are a very fun band. r'n'b is the go at zinc and the bands there are usually hot. apparently hard to get into if you are a single guy, but have a go anyway. some of the fillipino clubs are great too. there is one down the road from rock bottom...it is next door to an african club, great bands in there too and great floor show.rock bottom is opposite the 'bur juman centre'if you are stuck up the other end of town like i was for 4 months then you can try the jebel ali club in the jebel ali village. they sometimes have good bands. last summer 2004 up until ramadan they got in a *** awful polish rock/blues band. (management must take drugs) but before that they had a pumping band from...

Metroplex: Here is our favorite hangout, if you can call that

by Faiza-Ifrah

Metroplex is located on Dubai - Abu Dhabi Highway (Shaikh Zayed Road) some 10 kms out of the main city. It has 10 theaters, restaurants, live music area, bar, etc. serving the needs of upscale market segment and is quite popular with foreigners living in the UAE and with the tourists. In order to get there, head for Abu Dhabi from Dubai. After 10 kms or so from either Al Maktoom bridge or Garhood Bridge, you will see signboards for the Metroplex and soon the building will pass you by on the other side of the Highway. Keep to your right and take the next exit to the other side of the Highway. As you drive towards Dubai now, keep the speed slow and turn right into the building at the entrance. If you are coming from Abu Dhabi, then it will come on your side of the road after 12.5 kms from Hard Rock Cafe.At 10 kms from Hard Rock Cafe, there is Oasis Shopping Center that you can stop at to...

Souks, i.e. local markets: How about shopping in the evening?

by Faiza-Ifrah

At least Dubai has plenty of bars, pubs, discos, and night clubs. Other Emirates, especially Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are more conservative. However, for us Souks (traditional marketplaces) and shopping malls are good alternatives. This picture shows ladies interested in shopping for antiques in Dubai. Due to scorching summer heat, the best time to do shopping in the souks is in the evenings. UAE is fairly liberal as far as dress code goes. Reason is the tourism, which is explosive in Dubai. Outside of the UK, USA and perhaps Canada now, UAE shows the widest range of dresses.

Nightlife in the UAE is rather...

by ciranoush

Nightlife in the UAE is rather boring, except a good 'sheesha' at the hilton in Ras al Khaimah as far as i found out the only place where you can eat have a sheesha and sit on pillows for the oriental feeling-i had great night there!

Even if you dont drink, go to...

by khalloud

Even if you dont drink, go to the bar on 51st or 54th floor (or called something like that) at the Emirates Towers. An incredible view of Dubai at nite from high above. Dont worry too much about this, just dress like you're on a nite out.
