I'll be quick. Lunch. We've ordered stir-fried hammour with some veggies and stuff and have been waiting for half an hour for the waiter to come back to us to say "Sorry Sir, the fish is unavailable. Would you like to order anything else?". Of course, we didn't. Thank you.

Its not so much the abmience of the Grand that makes it special, its the food, the service and the price. Many expats in RAK eat here at least a couple of times a week. The food is beautifully cooked, you can have it as spicy as you like or not. They tend to make it not spicy when they see its westerners eating so if you like it hot just ask for extra chilli.
