The Saqr Park in Ras al Khaimah is a really nice place for a weekend barbeque, especially if you have kids with you. You can use your own grill or one of the fixed BBQ grills that are provided in the park. There are covered areas as well, that give you shelter in the case of rain.
For kids there are lots of playareas all over the park and there are also a few rides for adults, like a rollercoaster and a Big Splash ride.
The entry fee to the park is 10 Dirhams per car (there is a seperate parking area in the park).
All in all, a wonderful way to spend your Friday or Saturday afternoon in RAK.
