Scuba Diving

The United Arab Emirates is a good and generally inexpensive place in which to learn scuba diving. As an example, the Sandy Beach Diving Centre (see my "Hotels & Accommodations" tip about the Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort) is a PADI training facility which offers diving courses from the novice to instructor levels. Dives take place off Snoopy Island (pictured here), which is only 22 yards (20 meters) from the shore. The center's dive boats depart twice a day to the best dive sites along the east coast. And the center offers a full range of equipment that can be rented or purchased.The United Arab Emirates is bordered on the north and west by the Persian Gulf and on the east by the Indian Ocean. The waters are warm and consequently contain abundant marine life of a wide variety. The Persian Gulf is shallow and has only one narrow outlet to the open ocean, so it has a low level of water...

Horse Ridding

There are many stables in Dubai and in the other emairates.I have learned horse ridding @ Nad Al Shebathere are group classes which I took when I was in the collage with horse ridding club and then I took my own privat classes.Charges are 75 Dhs.per privat class.Desert Palm is another new stable in dubai, for horse ridding and polo.(( I will try to collect more info and pic next time i go ))There are different classes group, privat,semi-privat and kids too.Childern 2-3-4 years 15 mins/ 30 mins rid. cost 30 Dhs wear the right boots and u can hire a hat in the stable .

Climbing @ Pyramids

The first ever in Dubai, users of this facility will enjoy the combined thrills of climbing and benefits of cross-training - flexibility, strength and co-ordination. If you are a member in the gym the cost will be 30 Dhs 40 for nin-member.There is a trial class which will determine your level and in which group to joine(( Thats if u thought of staying more in dubai ..make sure u expolre more ..))) They have the whole equipments and if there is anything more you need u can still buy it from there..Another thing u may need is a small bag with your personal clothes, so that once u r done u can still enjoy the suna room inside the changing area.There is a small bar inside the gym for snacks and drinks and fresh drinks too.

Desert Ride with "Maalek"

That crazy driver half African, half Omani, "Maalek" is one of the best people I ever met, so cultured so gentle, so professional, and knows 5 languages, most of all he was an assistant next to Michael Schumacher, I will never forget those ups and downs we did like summersault stuff in that Desert cruiser, it was lots of fun and loads of adrenaline in Blood, thanks for that warning before your madness man, when you were saying: OH OH!!!
