Traffic in Jiblah

Jiblah has extremely bad traffic jams. Its old narrow streets were not designed for cars and are barely wide enough for one car let alone two.
This doesn't prevent people from stopping at the side of the road or parking though - even with the police directing the traffic.
It took us about half an hour to get a very short distance through the town and park. You just have to be patient.

Yemen is a country which anchors you to reality but Jiblah is a place extracted from Arabian Nights. It has retained its antique atmosphere, even in the people's way of life.
