What to buy:
Most typical for Sey'un is the silver jewelry.
What to pay: A few hundred to several thousands rials per item (usd 1 to 50), depending on silver content, (alleged) age and delicacy. The filligrain pieces said to be Jewish (and therefore at least 60 years old) will command the highest prices.
If you run low on something. The souqs in Sayun are the place to get it. They seemed to have a little bit of everything here. After visiting the Sultan's Palace to get the lay of the land these are great places to wander about.
What to buy: They say some of the best honey in the world comes from around here. You will see it in the souq in shops that specialize in it. I was too early into my trip to want to lug some of it home.
What to pay: Bargain like everything else you do here.
