 | Canada Nightlife | Tips 1 - 10 of 79 | | In keeping with the best around the country I am putting my case forward for St. John's, Newfoundland's George Street as the best nightlife and party spot in all of Canada. No joke! I havn't been to Bourbon Street yet but I would suggest it's on par with Bourbon as well or better! George Street is packed with literally hundreds of bars, pubs and nightclubs of all varieties and all within a 5 minute stroll from each other at most. They are wall to wall so most are simply walk out one door and walk into another! I provided a link to my St. John's page specifically where I have highlighted about 20 of the places on that street but there are many many more. Some of my favorites are O'Reilly's Irish Pub, the Sundance and Peddler's. I remember one time going to the Majestic a lot but its changed a lot there now. Throughout the summer there are some great festival like the George Street Festival, Halloween is hilarious, St. Paddy's day is great and generally any week from Thursday onward you are good to go!! Besides the amazing number of bars the great restaurants are also numerous so if this is what your looking for, have fun on George Street, Canada!!! Leave a Comment

Toronto's Roy Thompson Hall opened in 1982 after four years of construction. It was named after a $4,500,000 donation was made by the family of the late Roy Thompson, first Lord Thompson of Fleet, and the founder of the Thompson Corporation publishing empire. The 2,630-seat hall was renovated in 2002. It is the home of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, and Toronto International Film Festival gala screenings. Due to significant financial losses, in 1984 the trustees expanded the scope of programs offered by Roy Thompson Hall to broaden its audience and increase revenues. Now, in addition to classical music, patrons can attend concerts featuring classical jazz, pop, and world music, as well as dance performances. Little Italy, as it is known, on College Street from Bathurst westward, has cool and sophisticated bars and restaurants. Although the area is probably more accurately described as Little Portugal, it is an area full of European and mediterrean flair. College Street West is full of restaurants and bars to check out. Everything can be found here: cafes, lounges, bars, clubs, trattorias, pool halls...the list goes on. You can have a good time spending the night on College Street - having dinner, going to a club or simply trying a wonderful ice cream while walking on the street. This is a photo from little Italy, during the day, as you can see :) but is the only one that I have... Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: College Street -Toronto

Honestly, the nightlife in Red Deer, Alberta is not that great. Maybe it is because I live here?? I do not know but we have a lot of honkey bars and LAME clubs, way to many YOUNG YOUNG kids go and it all about getting wasted. If you want to go and listen to some REAL variety in music and see some awesome dancing...go to downtown Calgary. If you are into cheap drinks, we have that!!! Maybe that is why everyone gets so loaded. I am more into hanging out at pubs, we have a few Irish pubs and sports bars, they are great. If you must go out in Red Deer, the bar of choice for variety is County Club.(they do play rock) Beware of the old women though...we call this club, the cougar club....be careful, the lighting is low and the women are old.
People in Red Deer dress BORING....look at the Gap and dress like that. If you are going to Calgary, anything goes pretty much. Red Deer is still too small I guess, you will see the odd person in a crazy outfit but really...it is too damn cold to dress sleazy for the bar. The cougars usually do though. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: The Cougar Club is located in downtown Red Deer. There are two popular clubs called Belinis and Billy Bobs, one is obviously country and the other is rock, they are a good choice.

This club has been a vancouver tradition since the early 1980's...and the crowd hasnt changed to drastically either; Goths, Hipsters, and just people looking to have a good time come here cuz its Vancouver's only 'alternative' hangout, every where else is kinda like Los Angelos on crack sooo trust me you will luv Luvafair!
Thursday night is Brit-Pop night! so where your 80's Brit apparel...I think Wednesday is just 80's night and then the rest of the nights are like mixed but never generic! You see alot of skaters, rockers, and then just people who like got high and just walked in off the street I think. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: luvafair.comOther Contact: Luvafair.com

I used to go to Le top in Laval. It is a very beautiful place, warm decor. Unfortunately, last time I went, I felt a little old... the clientele changed... but still beautiful place.
I don't think they accept jeans, ortherwise, you see a bit of everything. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: 1545 boul. Le Corbusier Laval (Qc) (450)973-8677
