The Yellowknife Golf Club was designed by Arnold Enge, Sandy Scott, John Adnerson Thomson and Trevor Maywood. The course is also home to the Midnight Golf Tournament and a total yardage of 5543. It is the most northern 18 hole golf course in Canada and also has a fine driving range.
The men hit from the white tees, women from the red.
Golfing 9 holes on this course was a fun experience. Lots of wildlife, squirrels, birds and a few flies I would predict in the summer.
The course is mainly sand making it very unique but have fun and enjoy your golf north of 60!
Local Rules - Breach of local rule - penalty stroke play - 2 strokes; match play - loss of hole.
L1 - The Rules of Golf apply at all times, except as modified by local rules.
L1-1 - No penalty when the ball is taken by a raven!
L2-Portable Mat
L2-1-Through teh Green - preferred lie applies at all times. The ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed onto a mat up to 15 cm o where it originally lay, buy not nearer the hole and not in a hazard.
L2-2-On the Green - When using a club other than a putter, i.e. when chipping or pitching, the mat must be used under L2-1.
L2-3-The mat must be at least 10cm x 15 in size.
L3-1-Wrong Hole - the articial putting green and grass apron of a rong hole is ground under repair from which play is prohitibited. If a player's ball lies in the area, or if it interferes with the player's stance or the area of the intended swing, the player must take relief.
L4-1-Railway ties defining hazards are an integral part of teh course, relief under penalty only. All other ties are immovable obstructions.
L5-1-Power lines - when the ball strikes a power line, the ball must be replayed.
Local Etiquette
E1-Please play without undue delay at all times.
E1-2-Through the green - If doubt exists whether a ball is lost or is out of bounds, please play a provisional ball, limit searches to five minutes. Please keep up to the group ahead at all times.
Local Information
I-1- White stakes r fence posts define out of bounds on holes, 1,4,8,9, 10, 12, 13 and 17. OB posts on hole 17 are immovable obstructions when playing hole 18. Yellow stakes define water hazards on holes 7 and 11. Red stakes define lateral water hazards on holes 7, 12 and 13.

I keep saying in all of my tips that I am not a bird watcher but I should start stay expert.
I know there is a local club and at the visitor center there is a list of all the birds you will find in the North West Territories.
I have these pegged as ducks.

Hole number 9 is a 494 yard par 5. It is a long hole with a slight dog leg. You won't see the the pin from the tee. Just go for a monster drive.
So that ends my tips as I only played the front 9. From my card and I can give you the rest of the yardages from the men's white tees.
10-349 yards, par 4.
11-165 yards, par 3.
12-483 yards, par 5.
13-322 yards, par 4.
14-150 yards, par 3.
15-382 yards, par 4.
16-355 yards, par 4.
17-364 yards, par 4.
18-467 yards, par 5.
