Nunavut is blessed with many great artist. I particularly like and appreciate the stone carvings. You will find that different regions of Nunavut have little different styles.Many of the carvings are of traditional animals that live in the arctic such as the polar bear while other carvings are of the Inuit people themselves.You can buy in galleries however you get the best price by buying direct from the carvers themselves it just takes a little more time to track them down.
