Fish Bones is one of the restaurants that enjoys a good location on Victoria Row, a small pedestrian way closed off to auto traffic; and, in the summer months, offers outdoor seating. Also, I think it is the only oyster bar in Charlottetown, so, if you are looking for raw oysters, head over there.
Favorite Dish:
Naturally, I started off with a half dozen oysters and one the local beers, while scanning the menu for that evening's feast.
One item that I could not take my eyes off of was the Baked Sole. With that decided, I went back to finishing my oysters. The Baked Sole arrived shortly thereafter...and smelled so good. That poor fish didn't have a chance in front of me. I really loved the baked Sole...I think it was one of the best pieces of fish that I can remember having at a restaurant. Served with rice and steamed fresh vegatables, the Sole was lightly baked and covered in a nice mustard sauce.
