This is a park by the Hillsborough River. There's a boardwalk going along the water that leads into the downtown area, and in the evenings, the sunset over the water is absolutely beautiful. You'll often see speedboats and sailboats in the river.

There's also a few historic cannons on a hill close to the boardwalk, and you're allowed to climb on them if you want.

If you go into the woods during the day (DO NOT go at night), you might find "Deadman's Pond". It's a pond where, legend has it, a man drowned in it and sometimes you can see his reflection in the water (I've never seen it).

There's also a playground for kids, a pool, open fields (perfect for a picknick) tennis courts, an ice cream canteen, and an area for baseball.

Established in 1805, has been guarding the city ever since. Even though it was never actually used for warfare it has been the site of many ceremonies. It is a nice place to wander around for about 15 to 20 minutes. On November 8, 2005 it was recommissioned by Michaelle Jean the Governor General of Canada. It is located along Park Roadway by Victoria Park.
