    Getting around in Charlottetown

In downtown Charlottetown, everything is within walking distance. There is no subway here, but we do have a new bus transit system. Look for the busses that look like old-fashioned tourist trolleys (you can pick up a bus schedule at the Confederation Centre box office). There are also taxis available, and they're usually cheap (around $5 if it's within Charlottetown). You can't hail a taxi in Charlottetown, you have to call in advance.

The easiest taxi phone number to remember is Yellow Cab: 566-6666.
