To get to Hunter River, you have to drive. There is no bus that I know of that goes there, and it's too far for walking from Charlottetown.
Around the area, you can either drive, walk, or ride a bike.

Hunter River is a charming little village about half way in between Charlottetown and Cavendish. It's very small and quiet, and doesn't have any major tourist activities or sites.
