    Northumberland Ferries depart...

Northumberland Ferries depart from Caribou, Nova Scotia and Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island, on a schedule of about every hour and a half, offering a pleasant respite. Wood Islands is the gateway community to scenic and lively eastern Prince Edward Island. The ride is approximatley 75 min. long.
Just as going over the Bridge is something to see, so is taking a ride on the ferry. The trip either way isn't too long and there's some great views of both provinces as you approach them. There's also a very good chance of seeing some fisherman out on the water fishing for some of our world famous seafood!
