My canadian friend has skied and snowboarded at nearly every mountain in the Rockies, living in Calgary its rude not to. This is one of her favourite mountains to baord out of them all. But, put simply, it is the best mountain to board in all the areas around banff. Several lifts to take you up to the runs you want to do, and plenty of variation for the beginners all the way up to the experts. I found the runs to be exciting and challenging in places, but always plenty of places to take a break to let others catch up, or just to take a look at the views, which were breath taking.

had some awesome days on the mountain, my ability improved alot, and they looked to have a good ski school for all the beginners to go and learn. i would advice anyone to go here, about $80 CAD for the day per person!!

Equipment: Well if you have your own equipment, its always better to bring it and use your own. i have all my own board, boots, pants, jacket, gloves, i did not have to hire anything. the hire shop did look pretty good if you need to hire or need to try boarding or skiing before you buy eqiuipment!
