Favorite thing:
You can expect to find a lot to do in the city of Calgary. Although it is used by most as a starting point for mountain journeys. Some things to see, head to the 1984 Olympic Ski-jump and bobsledding area just west of the city. You'll see the ski-jump from the road just as you reach the McDonalds on the right side of the road. You can ride a bobsled down the actual run used in the Olympics, or you can ride an elevator to the top of the ski-jump and look down the run.
If you want to leave Calgary, take a car or bus trip out to the city of Banff where you will find wonderful city streets filled with shops, close proximity to skiing slopes, and spectacular wildlife and views.
Fondest memory:
BANFF BANFF BANFF BANFF!!!! Also visiting the Olympic park and the Calgary Zoo was nice as well. This picture is from the top of the ski-jump ramp.
