Ok, i'm not exactly using these catagories correctly, but this is important. FFW (fast forward) is a weekly publication put out every Thursday. It looks like a newspaper insert or something and can usually be found, for free i might add, in most shops and restaurants throughout the city. Boston Pizza's usually have them in the enterance way. FFW is a comprehensive guide of everything that is going on in the city. It is indepth for the week that it is published for but also lets you know what other major events such as concerts will be coming up for the next month or two. It lists basically every bar and what if any live or otherwise entertainment they will have during the week. It lists all the movies, concerts, theater, standup comedy, everything. If you want to know what's going on in the city, pick up one of these. Also a good website is www.discovercalgary.com, has info on everything.
Fondest memory: waking up every day at 2:30pm or basement jams, tough call.
If you want a whole day trip head out to Banff and walk around the town for the day. Try to resist buying anything you could buy elsewhere as everything in the town is way overpriced. If you're looking for a place to party at nite, head out to the AURORA, a bumpin club. If you're in a chill mood, take the gondola up to the top of the mountains and obseve the view... definetly worth the trip
Fondest memory: Cruzing down 17th avenue south in a mustang convertible naked with 6 friends.
