Favorite thing: Here are just a few "facts" about the West Edmonton Mall

There are over 800 shops and services under one roof.

There are 22 million visitors to the West Edmonton mall each year.

West Edmonton Mall square footage (5.3 million) woudl hold 30,709 school buses (the big ones).

West Edmonton Mall is big enough to hold 40 Beoing 747's.

At top speed it would take a zamboni 22 minutes to drive around the West Edmonton Mall.

Fondest memory: All coins thrown into the fountains at West Edmonton Mall are donated to various charities in the Edmonton area.

Favorite thing: The biggest tourist attraction in Edmonton is definetly West Edmonton Mall... i think its the second largest mall in the world.. everything you could ever want is there..waterpark...HUGE.. its great and thats the first place i ever went bungy jumping...WOW!!! it was insane. There is also an amusement park there... that roller coaster is so much fun especially when they have the last car turned around backwards..thats a rush. There's even race cars...sooo fast... right in the middle of the mall there is an ice rink.. its beautiful and wide open, it's quite funny trying to drag my best friend there..she hates it..In the mall there is 2 movie theaters... one of them has a fire breathing dragon inside (kinda creepy)but cool.Resturants so many.. a huge casino... bars (lots of em)... everything and anything including a hotel attached... there is theme rooms inside (thats where we started our new years night a whole bunch of us) then carried on to the bars. The mall is suitable for everyone, families or couples and even just a group of people who wanna have a blast... as well one more thing shopping there is thee best..(and when i figure out how to work this scanner i'll show pictures)

Fondest memory: When i'm away from Edmonton i miss the mall.. West Edmonton Mall... because right outside of the coolest store that i used to work at there is dolphins... and they usually have a show almost every hour... and right below the dolphin tank is a cavern with penguins and a shark and almost anything u can imagine ( but don't worry their not all in the same tank)hehehe i was trying to be funny so please smile!!

Favorite thing: It’s a world of fun at West Edmonton Mall! Where else can you experience an amusement park, explore the depths of the sea, splash in a giant wavepool, glide on the same ice used by the Edmonton Oilers, play a round of mini-golf, and shop till you drop — all under one roof?

Fondest memory: The Trees! Trees! Trees!

Favorite thing: I don't know if it's worth the long drive from Calgary to get here, but if you do come, don't worry, you'll find something to do. Definately see the West Edmonton Mall, it's huge, and has everything you'd ever need inside.

Fondest memory: The West Edmonton Mall, and the long drive to the city.

Favorite thing: Before the mall of America was made the West Edmonton Mall was the biggest mall in the world. This is definately one of the most important things to put on your 'things to do' list. It is a place that the whole family will enjoy. Little boys and the 'big-boys' too,ha ha, will enjoy everything from an underwater submarine ride to the double loop roller-coaster.

Fondest memory: The West Edmonton Mall is my most fondest memory. I just wish that I had enough room to say everything that I have to say about that place. So i'll just say thanks Edmonton for everything you had to offer.

Favorite thing: Hi :) My favorite thing to do, considering I was only 14 yrs old was go to the mall. West Ed actually..It was great!!! We were there for 2 weeks at a family reunion so all the kids took off to Edmonton for lots of shopping! A warning though...you can get caught up in all the stores...we went 2 days and spent all day there and I still didn't hit all the stores or do all the things we could have done...like we didn't go to the amusement park or the movie theaters inside the mall and we had to miss out on a game of Laser Tag....but it would have been fun all the same right? There are lots of stores and lots of things to see and do. They even offer tours of a submarine (I think it was a submarine......it was a long time ago) All in all, the mall was the best part of the whole trip.
