Located on Bourbon Street in the WEM, you might want to check out the comedy. As with any comedy club, some comics are better than others. We enjoyed several laughs, and a few drinks. A reasonably priced menu is also available for dining.

It's where you'll likely be spending most of your time in Edmonton anyway! Lots of choices, all indoors, away from the weather. Popular entertainment choices include cinemas (especially Silver City in Phase IV), Playdium, Red's (large entertainment centre for families during the day, at night catering to the younger crowd, with bowling, pool, arcade, dance floor, occasional live band, restaurant, bar), and the various night clubs (Rum Jungle - though everyone I know HATE the DJ there, The Joint, Juice, Nashville). There is also a casino, a dinner theatre (Jubilations) and many restaurants that are open after all the stores are closed.
Dress Code: Depends on where you go, but nothing in particular worth noting.

Red's at West Edmonton Mall (Picture on the side is my bowling score..WOO HOO!!! Cracked a hundred!!! hehehehe)
If you're tired of just the club scene, head here for pool, arcade, bowling, to grab a bite to eat, or dance. Note that the bowling lanes do get busy after 9 (think it was an hour and a half wait the last time I was there). Sometimes, there are local & international bands playing there.
Dress Code: Casual wear is just fine. You can just relax here. Side note: if you get in before 9 pm, there's no cover charge (usually $5) unless you want to watch the band...the cost of that varies but basically, you can hear the band playing..just can't see them very well. hahahahaha
