I never leave Jasper without stopping at this store!
They have 23 varieties of fudge that they make right in the store. My favorites are Maple-Walnut, Turtle and Butter Pecan.
They have chocolates made there also - bear claws, buffalo chunks and beaver damns. I like the bear claws the best.
And of course dozens of teddy bears, teddy puzzles, bear rugs, and bear pillows BUT the best bear is the one you get to sit by on the bench outside.
What to buy: Fudge, candy apples, caramel apples, popcorn, chocolates, caramels and teddy bears!
What to pay: Each piece of fudge costs about $10.00
Chocolate pieces are $3.75 to $3.95
Candy apples are $5.00
This is a good up-to-date grocery. They had a well stocked deli where we could get just enough potato salad for one meal. While we were there we also bought a steak and some asparagus to fix back at Patricia Lake Bungalows.
Alberta is beef country, and Robinsons offers the best. Our steak was very tasty.
What to buy: We bought a boneless Alberta beef steak.
One of the many souvenir and gift shops was the EDELWEISS GIFT SHOP. It carried your typical Jasper souvenirs, T-shirts, knick-knacks, Jasper information books, etc. It was a lovely little shop and I had fun browsing through it.
