    Another Lake to name

Favorite thing: One of the many views we saw in the National Park. We were so facinated that around corner there was a different lake.

Fondest memory: The scenery was so magical especially in the snow.
This lake is yet to be named so under construction.

    Mount Chephren

Favorite thing: As you drive along Highway 93, the Icefields Parkway, you will be blown away by the magnificent scenery that you will be seeing. Take the time to savour nature's beauty. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas we have ever seen (except of course, the Grand Canyon)

Becky and Phil at the base of Mt. Cavell

Favorite thing: Jasper is stunning. Every trail brings a surprise. Animals around every bend. Rugged mountains, brilliant waterfalls, stunning glaciers. For myself, I cannot imagine experiencing this wealth of nature without having a companion to talk over the day's events, to share a special dinner, to bask in the glory of the mountains. Yes, I understand that some revel in solo travel, but for me it is incomprehensible.

Fondest memory: Sharing the sights with Becky.

just your typival partially cloudy day in Jasper

Favorite thing: A picture is worth a thousand words right? In this case it is worth tens of thousands. How can you look at this scenery and not a plan a trip to Jasper yourself.

As I think about my many and varied travels over the past decade--my journey to the Canadian Rockies tops the list.
