Favorite thing: Driving the Malinge Lake Road from Medicine Lake to Malinge Lake, a herd of bighorn sheep began crossing the road, holding up traffic for 20 minutes. A few of them came close to the cars; others stayed away. That was basically our entire wildlife experience in Jasper, except for some moose and deer later on.
Favorite thing:
%cThe wild life was one of our favorite things we saw int the Jasper National Park. They were everywhere. If driving, you must be aware that the animals do stand around in the road.
Fondest memory:
Some fonest memories are the photos we have of the wild life.
Favorite thing: This is a common scene along Icefield Parkway -- whenever someone finds wildlife on roadside, it soon becomes a "deer jam" or "bear jam". Dozens of cars park in the middle of the road with lenses sticking out of their windows. Sometimes people walk around the animals trying to find the best angle (myself included). Anything that moves! One time I even saw tourists photographing crows and gulls in a parking lot. We got plenty of those in Los Angeles!
