Although it is tough to give a definitive review of a place where the chefs change periodically, we have always had delicious meals over the 20-year time span that we have been visiting Jasper.
The view is lovely, especially when the moon is rising over Mt. Kerkeslin in the distance (in September), and the Athabasca River rushes over rocks in the valley below.
Lovely restaurant with indoor seating near the bar or on the glass enclosed deck with panoramic views of the sun setting on the beautiful Kerkeslin mountain
The restaurant is under separate management from the Chalets & is very popular with guest & travelling tourists.
The occassional bus trip comes in the eat so reserve your table in advance.
Favorite Dish: The chef uses all local ingredients so if fresh is best this is for you.
I had the salmon while my husband choose the Elk dish - poor Elk - poor salmon - but both delicious
Dessert was fresh fruits of the forrest with ice cream - yummy
