The first thing to mention is the view. Try to have breakfast here at sunrise. It is a spetacular scene to see the sun hit the mountains out the window of this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. If you are staying here they will ask for your room number and name and everyone will call you by name. Makes you feel at home.
Favorite Dish: If you can get a the Breakfast buffet with some type of package with the hotel then I strongly suggest you do so. Otherwise it will cost you about $20 Canadian. The breakfast is awesome, everything was fresh and fantastic.
I had dinner here two nights. The first night I had the baby back ribs and HAD to come back my last night for a second helping. Every restaurant in this Hotel has Superior Service.

On the bottom floor of the Chateau Lake Louise, take the spiral staircase near the check in counter down. At the bottom is the Glacier Saloon. A typical sports bar with class. The menu is limited, a burger, fish, steak and a couple of other things. The service is the BEST. The staff keep this place immaculate, if they are not serving you they are cleaning the place. Very hospitable. Ask the waitress what types of beer the locals drink and share in their tastes and local splendor. They have a pool table so be prepared to chalk em up.
Favorite Dish: I enjoyed the burgers with a beer, watching the local Junior hockey team on TV.

Okay, I know what you're thinking, 'a CAFETERIA?!' That's what we thought too, but first of all, there aren't a whole lot of places to eat in Lake Louise, and secondly, this is the CHATEAU cafeteria. Think higher quality than what you were used to in highschool. We forked out $20 (CAN) for a bowl of stew with a slice of fresh bread, lasagna, and a bottled drink. But it was comparable to a restaurant. So it actually came out cheaper than what we might have spent elsewhere.
