Leduc Travel Guide

Themed as an Irish pub, Burnsy is about the best place in Leduc. It has a dozen or so tables where groups of four or more may sit, as well as a long bar. The steak sandwich I had was fantastic.

There's sports memorabilia on the walls, such as soccer scarfs of the world teams and of course since this is hockey country, there's some Oilers gear too.

On weekend nights, there's live music too, which brings out most of the lively locals.

Dress Code: The dress code is completely casual.

Okay, so Canadians don't think anything of it. But when I saw this sign on a highway in Leduc, I burst out laughing.

"Important Intersection Ahead"

What, The Prime Minister shook hands there? Why is it so important?

Upon further discussion, I was enlightened to the fact that this intersection in a junction to another highway. Well, what's so important about that, eh?
