Although the park in the center of the city, across from park place mall may seem nice during the day, it is very important to stear clear of it after dark. If you are approched by anyone, don't stop, ignore them and keep walking. Try to keep in busy areas, beacuse although lethbridge is a smaller city, it has it's share of problems in the core after dark.
When you walk through the tavern and bar section of downtown Lethbridge, you may be invited by local pan-handlers to contribute to their source of income and entertainment. The best advice is to ignore an continue on.
Nice picture, eh? The CPR reeeeally does not like people doing this. The High Level bridge is over a mile (1.6 km) long. Trains are constantly moving across it. It is several hundred feet above the Oldman River. If you're crossing it and you're not on a train... well, be afraid.
The police in this town have photo radar and are not scared to use it, so abide by the speed limit at all times. Try to stay down town because the rest of the city is all houses everything is on the main strips 3rd ave & Mayor Magrath drive, Scenic drive is self explanitory
