    This statue of Enterprise with the number of FX6-1995-A was erected, well in 1995. It is a fair size at 31' by 9' and a weight of 5t. It is easily seen on Highway 23 right next to the Space Station.

    This is where it's at in Vulcan. Opened in 1998 this is the information center, souvenir shop, displays, the place to check your email and more. I found the staff to be quite friendly but the souvenir shop could have been better. The hours are;
    Summer: 9:00am-6:00pm monday-saturday
    12:00pm-6:00pm sunday
    Winter: 9:00am-5:00pm monday-friday

    What to buy: Vulcan ears is the only must have souvenir from Vulcan. Granted it is possible to purchase them elsewhere but this is the true place to buy them.

    What to pay: I spent $3.75 Canadian for them.

    Favorite thing: As you drive by on the highway you drive right past the Star Trek ship - Vulcan's Starship FX6-1995-A,

    If you have some time you can stop into their unique visitors center that is in the shape of an Enterprise ship, which provides tourist information, displays Star Trek memorabilia, provides unique photo opportunities, and allows visitors to participate in The Vulcan Space Adventure virtual reality game. Nearby, a replica of the starship Enterprise from Star Trek V has been mounted on a pedestal which includes writing from Trek alien languages like Klingon.

    Fondest memory: My fondest memory? Just the fact that I drove through a town named Vulcan and had the ships to see was very unique to see.
