About half an hour North of Hope, on Hwy 1, you will find Hell's Gate - a pretty well known attraction out in this area. Though the prices a little high, the views and history of the area are well worth the visit (plus when you visit once, you can reuse your tickets for the...

Blue Moose Coffee House: delicious food - drink
While on a very brief stopover in Hope, all was needed was a takeaway drink and sandwich.
I had a delicious hot chocolate with the trimmings, plus a sandwich, which was eaten in the park on the opposite side of the road on picnic tables.
The coffee house was packed to the rafters, delicious food on offer, both hot and cold, soups, sandwiches, cakes, hot food etc., plus a couple of easy chairs too as well as tables inside and out.
For those of you who are interested, there is also an internet cafe housed in the coffee house premises.
click here for info and pictures of the exterier and interier of the coffee house.
