Heritage Park is such a great space in Mission. The park is huge so it's perfect to go out for a stroll with the little one's or furry friends. There is also a big sandbox with lots of toys, which our daughter is a huge fan of! In the summer it's a great spot for all of the outdoor events they have. Festivals and outdoor concerts are only some of the events that happen here! It's just a great place to enjoy the gorgeous weather and some views of the Fraser River and Fraser Valley. It's one of my favourite places to visit with our little girl on a beautiful day. I grab a coffee at The Blackberry Kitchen and watch her play away in the sandbox!

Westminster Abbey is on a 180 m elevation above the Fraser River, a 200-acre site that includes the abbey grounds, farm, and seminary campus. Its most distinctive feature is the abbey church and its tower with a ring of ten bells; these may be heard Sunday mornings for fifteen minutes before the 10:00 o'clock Mass, and on Sunday afternoons for fifteen minutes before 4:30 Vespers.

English Tarts is exactly the type of gem that a small town like Mission needs. If you are in the area, this is the place to stop for a little baked goodie, a yummy lunch or even for afternoon tea! The food is fresh daily and their baked goods and fresh bread are fantastic! They have a great selection of loose leaf teas that are made locally and the whole experience makes for a really lovely afternoon! I visited here with my two-year old and even she loved everything that came out - her favourite being the fresh baked bread.

The atmosphere is so quaint and the place is filled with lovely antique furniture pieces. It's comfy and cozy and the ladies who work there are the friendliest around! If you find yourself in Mission and are looking for a good bite, you'll need to stop in here! You won't regret it!
