Westminster Abbey is on a 180 m elevation above the Fraser River, a 200-acre site that includes the abbey grounds, farm, and seminary campus. Its most distinctive feature is the abbey church and its tower with a ring of ten bells; these may be heard Sunday mornings for fifteen minutes before the 10:00 o'clock Mass, and on Sunday afternoons for fifteen minutes before 4:30 Vespers.

Downtown Mission is the eastern terminus of the West Coast Express the
commuter train to Vancouver. Overnight and on weekends the trains are parked here ready to go again.
