This is the place to be during the summer! Even if you don't have a houseboat or jet skis (perish the thought), this lake is beautiful and scenic, and you will find everything from yachts to canoes cruising about (the canoes tend to cruise at a slower rate).
The parties occur at night when you dock, but during the day, its all about the sun and fun....

After a long day of driving from Vancouver on our way to Calgary, we stopped in Sicamous for the night. We asked the hotel for a decent restaurant and they recommended Moose Mulligans. We were doubly impressed that the gas station also recommended the place as well.
It wasn't too hard to find, and had a nice patio, and nice big, airy(and air conditioned) inside that had big windows that overlooked one of the many marinas.
It had a sports bar feel to it, but not overwhelming, and the staff were very friendly, and helpful.
The price was also incredibly reasonable, we paid more in Vancouver for so-so food and meh service.
Favorite Dish: I had a big 'moose' burger and my mom had a beef dip sandwich and we were surprized and impressed with the quality of the food, and with the size of the portions! So good! We took an order of garlic dry ribs to go to take back to my dad and we all enjoyed the snack back at the hotel!

The reason this shop is so special, is probably because it is the main store on the lake, and one of the only ones as well. Therefore, it pretty much has the monopoly on shopping.
The shops that are actually in Sicamous are more numerous, but since I have spent more time on the lake than in the town, I will show you what I know best...
What to buy: You can buy everything from souvenir t-shirts with dirty sayings, to pop, to food, to fireworks even (don't ask me why because the Rangers tell you they are illegal to light)...
You have to get alcohol at a seperate sea liquor store though...
What to pay: Depends on what you want. A little more expensive than average, but once again, it is the monopoly!!!
