In this town if you ever go you should take a tour of the Gm Place. The tours for this arena are so cheap you wouldnt belive it. This city has so much tourism in it you wouldnt belive. There is also a science centre that is a big silver ball thats really cool and neat in side. If you take the sky train in this town you will see all the big tourist attractions in the town and you would be able get off at any time to see the attraction you would want to see.
Fondest memory: My best memory of Vancouver is when i travelled through the city during the night. In the night time at Vancouver is so unblieveable cool and fun. There is so much to see when the city is lit up with all the lights, it could remind you of vegas a bit, well not as much but a little bit.
Attend an NHL Ice Hockey game! If you are in townduring the season, take in a Canucks game. The tickets can be expensive, but they often have deals and special offers. Any seat is a good seat at their home rink, GM Place. I am a big fan of hockey and encourage anyone who enjoys fast-paced sports to check it out.
For more info on the Vancouver Canucks Hockey Club, or about the National Hockey Leauge, visit www.canucks.com or www.nhl.com
Fondest memory: Getting to see Salé & Pelletier win their first World Championship titles was one of the most amazing things I experienced in Vancouver. The emotion in the arena as the largely Canadian crowd sang Oh Canada along with Jamie and David on the podium was overwhelming, and for a few brief moments I almost wished I were Canadian ;)
Catch a concert or sporting event at GM Place. Big name artists like the Backstreet Boys and U2 have had recent concerts here. This is where the Vancouver Canucks (NHL hockey team) and the Vancouver Grizzlies (NBA basketball team on its way out) play. In March, the 2001 World Figure Skating championships were held here.
Fondest memory: Here's a pic inside GM Place during one of the medal ceremonies at the 2001 World Figure Skating Championships.
