The menu has a great variety of choices. It is not just one style, they serve dishes that are Asean oriented but also great steaks, Italian dishes. They have a artichoke spinach dipper and that's really good. The staff was very friendly and professional. Nice spacious restaurant.
Favorite Dish:
I can't really remember what I had... We had dinner here twice and both times it was delicious!

I was attracted to Milestones on Robson Street by the Harley Davidson in the front window. There is a restaurant upstairs and a deep narrow bar on the ground floor where you don't usually have to wait for a table. That's where i ate. Food was really good and, though a bit pricey, not overly so for Robson Street. Good micro brew beer from a Granville Island brewery called Palomino too. Apparently there is more than one location for this restaurant/chain. This was the one on Robson Street
Favorite Dish:
I had caesar salad with real roasted garlic bits on top and chicken strips in a sweet red pepper sauce that was quite tasty. They also seemed to have quite a good brunch and eggs menu with several different kinds of eggs benedict that were also tempting.
Good steaks to have in Vancouver with lots of locations available in Downtown and even one in Whistler. The place is full of locals most of the time and is a suitable place to meet with friends and families for a meal.
Favorite Dish:
Get their steaks. Very tasty and makes for a satisfying meal!
Great food and great service are a highlight at Milestones. There are many locations in Vancouver, including three downtown (Robson Street, English Bay, and Yaletown).
Favorite Dish:
I enjoy the ravioli stuffed with italian sausage, and the corn and potato chowder.
I have now been to Milestones 3 times at 3 different locations and the first 2 times were not good impressions. The first one I went to was the one in West Vancouver and although the decor was great and the food was ok, the service was not as good as it could have been. Leftovers were "accidently" not saved and we felt ignored. To be fair, I decided to try another Milestones a couple years later, this time on Robson Street. The service was again, hard to get and the food didn't feel worth another return trip. So, despite these two experiences, I recently went to another Milestones for brunch (not my choice, but fine) on W 4th. The food was fine, service was ok but I still don't see the hype.. How is Milestones voted among the "best" restaurants in Vancouver?? There are so many other great places to eat.. I'd vote White Spot over Milestone's.
Favorite Dish:
No overall impressive dish.
We were given a voucher card as a wedding present and so visited the Denmen Street restaurant which overlooks English Bay. Stunning view especially at sunset. The service was impeccable and the waiter knowledgeable about the food and wine. He was attentative without being overbearing. The plate was not overloaded and had just the right amount of food. We had steak and my husband reckoned it was the best he had ever had, cooked to perfection. Would definitely go back to this location. We did go to a Milestones in Toronto and it just did not compare.
The facade of this restaurant (Robson street) is very brightly painted. This is a top notch restaurant with a wide selection of food and drink. We were seated quickly. The waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full. The lighting in the restaurant is a little darker, which gives off a little more of a sense of privacy. Meals arrived at our table promptly. The prime rib was done quite well. The wife tried a veggie burger, and enjoyed that as well. They also have chicken, pasta, and other steaks. There's a farily extensive wine selection as well as some delicious locally brewed beers.
Part of a chain of steakhouses in the Pacific North West.
Good quality and good value food (our 8oz. sirloin steaks were around Can$17/18, including veg and potatoes). A bit formulaic, and relatively limited choice, but a good safe bet.
This restaurant seemed to be mostly booth seating, with high sides. Fine if you want privacy, but hopeless for people-watching. The restaurant was quite busy on the Friday night we ate here, but we have no idea what any of the other diners were like!
Favorite Dish:
errr... steak?!
The view is the best part -- and the Bellinis. These seem to be the 'Vancouver Drink.' A frozen mix of peach, vodka, and champagne. The restaurant serves seafood and pastas -- the food is good and the portions are very large! There is outdoor heated and indoor seating overlooking English Bay. Have reservations to be seated quickly and with a good view.
