one of the top restaurants in the city, this is probably the most scenic restaurant I've been to. It's located on the shore of False Creek, it looks over the downtown skyline. There was a live jazz band playing when we were there on an October Saturday night as we were celebrating my mom's birthday. If you're into fine dining, they have a beautiful dining room upstairs. If you want a casual atmosphere, they have an energetic oyster bar downstairs. If you're wanting to eat outside, they have a huge patio surrounding the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Service is excellent, the decor was classy, and the food was superb.
Favorite Dish: Cajun Rare Ahi Tuna - dark rum infused pineapple salsa & lobster red pepper hash
Monk Mcqueen Fresh Seafood and Oyster Bar
In the summer time I recommend you to book a table on the Patio since you'll get a better view on the riverside. But do bring a jacket as it does get pretty chilly once the sun sets (tho they have fire torches but just bring one)
If you want to have a fancier experience, you can book their Monk Mcqueen upstair. I think you do have a dress up a little bit for that.
Check out their website for details.
Favorite Dish: Basically I like the environment better than the food. But of course, the food is not crappy at all. The seafood is very fresh. And you'll have a plethora of choices.
Great Seafood! The resturant offers outdoor seating which overlooks the bay. On friday and Saturday they play jazz in the evenings.
Favorite Dish: The Sunflower Crusted Salmon and the Shrimp Linguini!
