Metrotown Shopping & Entertainment Complex

3 major shopping centres and an entertainment complex. Open 7 days a week, with late nights Mon-Fri.

This place is even better than South Coast Plaza here in Orange County, CA.

Metropolis Entertainment Zone is open everyday 11am-10pm.

Metrotown Mall: Everything in One place

metrotown mall

Metrotown Centre is a huge megamall (two actually, Metrotown and Eaton Centre are joined), where you can find pretty much anything you need (or don't).

There's also major department stores: Eatons, the Bay, Zellers (very cheap), and T&T - a specialty asian (chinese) food/department store, and Superstore or Save0nFoods (giant grocery stores).

The best thing about it is that you can access everything under one roof, without having to go out in the rain.

What to buy: Lots of clothing stores, shoe stores, jewellery stores, a big food fair to eat at, knicknack stores, 'everything under a dollar' stores, toys, music, sporting goods, health food, books, cosmetics, etc, etc...

There's also the 'mega' movie theatres, where the seats are plush, and the screen and sound is big (so are the prices though, $12). Worth it for the really blockbuster action films.

Metrotown: Metro town malls

Thia mall is the probably the biggest mall in British Columbia. Metrotown mall has anything you can think of in it from old stuff to the new latest cool thing out in public. This mall is so big it would take you a good day just to see what type of stores it has to offer the public. You name a store i can almost promise you that it is in the mall.

What to buy: This mall you can buy almost any type of materials you are searching for. If i went there to go find a basketball jersey of Vince Carter and to buy a pair of replica shoes of him they would have all three types of shoes he has and all three types of jerseys that he has as well.

What to pay: Their prices in this mall are fairly reasonable and you would have to shop around a bit in the mall cause one item may be cheaper in the thats across it or beside.

It is the biggest mall I've ever seen in my life!!! Second only in size to West Edmonton Mall I believe. You can buy anything imaginable , with many stores not found in other, smaller places in the country.
