    Granville Island is located under the Granville Street bridge. The Granville Island Public Market is the most fascinating part of Granville Island. The market houses many fresh seafood stalls, deli meats, breads, as well as arts and crafts. It is also a good place to have a cup of tea while admiring views of downtown Vancouver across False Creek.

    Some may consider Granville Island a tourist trap, but we really liked their public market. We think it's a great place to go as a group and try different foods from all the vendors. Parking is horrendous. We'd recommend parking right outside the entrance and walking in.

    It has stores, galleries, artist's studios and it houses the world famous Grandville Public Market where you also find restaurants. Outside the Market you find the center for the performing arts, music, dance and theater.

    Enjoyed all of the restaurants & shops. We took a ferry to Granville and the trolley back to our hotel.
