Just 21 floors up and you have a really nice view of downtow, Chinatown, Gasttown and Stanley Park. In suspect that the view of the mountains is spectacular in clear weather.
although the view is the most important factor here, the tower is a landmark, like the Seattle Space Needle is.
And while you're there, check out the marina and the 'sails' building.
A space needle wannabe perched on top of the harbour center building, this none the less gives great views over Vancouver.
Get to the Look out. From here you will see views of all the city. I got some great pictures of the city from here. It reminded me alittle of the CN Tower in Toronto.
Going up the Harbour Center Tower will give you a very impressive 360 view of the city itself, the bay and the surrounding mountains.
If you'd like a great 360 degree view of downtown Vancouver and it's surrounds, check out the view from this spot. On a clear day, you can almost see forever.
I recommend you do this first thing, after settling into your hotel. This helps impress a 3-D map onto your mind and gets you acquainted with the city before stepping out into it.
