Fondest memory: My fondest memory… well, very difficult to say.
But one thing is for sure, among all my trips this is my favorite one because this was my first trip abroad and the first time I was away from home and from my parents.
My days at the English school were awesome. I was the only Latinamerican person in the class, the rest were Korean and Japanese and the mix of cultures and customs in the classroom were cool, we learned a lot from each other, I specially learned a lot about Japanese culture and because of that I went to Japan some years later (and I’m sure I’ll go to Korea one day too).
This trip woke up my traveler spirit, that’s for sure!
Go to Victoria Gardens. It is gorgeous! It is so good to get out into God's beautiful creation and really experience the beauty only He can create and give life to. Take lots of pictures, the colors there are brilliant and plentiful.
Fondest memory: I still remember the bus tour commentator. She helped us Americans remember how to calculate fahrenheit into celcius. 30 is hot, 20 is nice, 10 is cool, and 0 is ice.
Visit Buchart Gardens - among the most fabulous and beautiful in the World!
Fondest memory: When I am away from Victoria I miss the ocean, the flowers all year round, the gentle climate, the beautiful scenery - just about everything.
Whale Watching by the Suan Juan Island. A breathtaking and amazing experience. A must
Fondest memory: I miss the people. They are the friendliest people on earth and really helped me out. They are extremely proud of there country and so they should be as it is truely beautiful.
Also miss the sun sets over the mariner in Oakbay.
