Fondest memory: Victoria's famous Empress Hotel is a highlight for visitors. This hotel's architecture is impressive. It was designed by Francis Rattenbury who also designed the Parliament Buildings in Victoria. At the Empress you can enjoy a tradition Afternoon Tea which you shouldn't miss.
Fondest memory: is visiting the city when I was 5 years old with my family! Here I am infront of the Empress Hotel yet again, except unlike my trip to Victoria in March 2001, here I am standing (in blue) with my sister (in pink) and my mom (in yellow) in the summer of 1985! My does time fly... but the Empress hasn't changed at all! Read more about this trip in my travelogue called Cowichan Lake.
The hotel rose garden, and have afternoon tea is a must -
Fondest memory: Ilove traveling to Canada on the Ferry from Port Angeles, Washington to Victoria – I can still remember the first time the Ferry pulled in the harbor in Victoria – The hotel in the background the pretty flowers about the town. -
