Inner Harbour, Victoria
Victoria has its share of pubs and if you are looking for a great beer, you came to the right place. With two world class brewpubs in Spinnakers and The Swan, you cannot go wrong. A bit newer is the Canoe Brewpub which we did not make it to.
There are countless other pubs, many with great names like The Sticky Wicket and real English charm. But the truth is, just strolling the streets of Victoria after the sun goes down is one of its finer pleasures. It takes on a magical atmosphere with many buildings lit up to great effect. The best views are from across the Inner Harbor. This makes an evening trip to Spinnakers doubly rewarding. It's on the other side and you'll get some great views on your way home.
Dress Code: Normally, you would need a jacket in evening but we had a real hot spell when visiting Victoria. The nights were the best and most comfortable times.

The Inner Harbor is a great place to take an evening stroll with your family as you will see a gorgeous sunset here. There are lots of people here walking or sitting around, and there is also live music. Of course there are all kinds of restaurants nearby where you can enjoy dinner. The Parliament Buildings will light up in the evening, which will also be beautiful.
The Parliament Buildings become even more attractive illuminated with more than 3,000 light bulbs. It's not a seasonal thing as the bulbs are illuminated nightly year round.
