Bean Around The World: a place for coffee & travelers
Bean Around The World Coffees is a small British Colombia chain with most of its locations in Vancouver but luckily one charming one in the heart of Victoria. They seem to promote global causes and there is an artsy, alternative, world traveler kind of vibe to it. The narrow interior looks and feels English and most of the people who served us had English accents. Though it was very nice, we had our coffee and muffin at one of the outdoor tables.
Favorite Dish: We had breakfast here both mornings we were in Victoria and quite enjoyed it. The coffee was properly made and strong. The muffins tasty and good size. Prices were not cheap but probably cheaper than Starbucks. Two coffees and two muffins: $11. It is self-serve, eliminating the need for a tip.

Bean Around the world: Exclusive!!!
Bean Around The World is always busy, and rightfully so. This hip cafe located in China Town gets the whole concept of coffee shop right – a cool and comfortable place to hang out while absorbing strong caffeine. With a gigantic world map of coffee trade routes on the wall, a boat hanging from the ceiling, and Chinese lettering on windows, Bean The World seems like it could be an outpost on a distant island where sailors and travelers make plans and hatch schemes - which, I guess, it is.
Favorite Dish: I really enjoyed Hot Apple Cider!!! Oh it was so good! :))
