Los Taquitos: Locals-Only Mexican
Consistently packed during the prime lunch hour (noon to one p.m.), Los Taquitos is far from Victoria's touristy downtown but close to hundreds of industrial and commercial offices. I visited Los Taquitos for the first time this week, for a speedy weekday lunch. The menu has a wide assortment of traditional Mexican dishes and Mexican-inspired breakfast foods. I opted for the Enchiladas de Mole, served stuffed with roasted veggies in an amazingly chocolatey mole sauce. The sauce was to die for, and luckily they sell almost everything from mole sauce to guacamole to homemade tortillas in take-home containers! We also ordered one of the lunch specials, which was two veggie tacos with a side salad. Apparently the house mango salad dressing is also fantastic! Also of note was their horchata, which was deliciously fresh and perfectly spiced. While Los Taquitos may be too far off the beaten track for non-locals, anyone who lives in Victoria and likes Mexican food has no excuse for not checking it out!

Los Taquitos: Real Mexican food
To me, Los Taquitos is the best Mexican restaurant in Victoria as if offers authentic mexican food: it is delicious, inexpensive and authentic. It is managed by Mexican cookers.
You'll find some mexican magazines and music for you to enjoy while you wait for a table but
I suggest you to make a reservation as it can get very busy during peak hours, but it is certainly worth the visit.
