  • its a huge pub on different levels, you even have a volleyball court on the roof for the summers. Its worth having a beer, nachos or wings and playing Volleyball!

    We shared the "Prawn Bake" which had 8 jumbo prawns smothered in a creamy sauce and baked with cheddar cheese on top. It was served with tomatoes and toasted pita.

    As well, we shared the goat's cheese fondue which had a generous amount of the best tasting goat's cheese, with a platter of grapes, apple slices, strawberries, and bread.

  • We landed at The Sticky Wicket { http://www.salescene.com/stikywik.html }. Very fine place, the food was most excellent, and the beer was brewed locally and it seems the bottom of the glass appeared way to soon. YUM! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Victoria BC.

    Didn't have any food, just drinks. I've got to say the service was spotty. We went on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't packed at all, but they had a hard time find us seating. We were moved a few times before settling down. Has your normal pub fare and drinks/beers. This place is huge with multiple levels and a pool room.

    The Sticky Wicket Pub is located next to the Strathcona Hotel and the Legends nightclub on the lower half of Douglas St (the lobby of the Strathcona is actually adjoined with the entrance to the Sticky Wicket). Although you won't find anyone playing cricket here, you'll find a nice up-scale pub atmosphere that serves a good menu of British, Canadian and American food.

    Outside of the dining area, there's a good Irish pub which serves beers from all over the world. This place can get quite crowded on weekend nights, when travellers and locals alike share a drink together.

    The service here is great, fast and friendly. A good place to eat at if you're in Victoria.

    The bangers and mash is really great and good filler.
